I think, as the National Cup is "series", parties at my home should also be consiered as "afterparty series".
grill/party in my backyard after Polish National Cup #1.
1. Filip Polc made it! He won first round of Polish National Cupwith almost 2 sec. lead over second rider.
2. Wojtek "Diabeł" Koniuszewski took 4th place, (3rd among polish competitors). Very good result considering many foreign riders, who made pretty hard to be in the top 5 in masters category.
3. Lukasz "Blondie" Gwozdz of Rockets Crew Team took a flat in the very begining of the track during his qualifying run. As a result he qualified as the last rider. In the finals he made pretty consistent run,
and took 7th place with over 5 sec loss to Filip Polc.
4. I saw Patryk in practise run having a massive crash on the most steep part of the track. Hopefuly everything ended happily. In finals Patryk ended the competition on 44th place.
5. Not everyone had so much luck as Patryk. Andrzej crashed before qualifications, broke collar and bone both hands in his wrists. Get well fast mate!
6. Joda had a acceptable run. He managed to take 5th place (2nd among polish riders), with 2.77sec loss to the first.
7. After so many unlucky years, Arek can say that this competition was the culmination of his efforts to be on podium. 2nd place with 1.89 loss to Filip, 1st place among polish riders.

2. This year Arek is representing Fro Pro crew. Wisla is almost his backyard, previous years showed us that Arek is capable to shred some parts of the track like no one else,
quite often due to his speed and overconfidence he didn't end the final run. What Arek will show this year?
3. Joda as always - prepared for the season. As most of us probably have seen after his very successful winter season, main sport for Maciek is Snowboardcross.
Nevertheless he is not about to leave downhill scene. As he said me, his main aim is first place, as always!
4. destroy-your-derailleur-stone.
5. Qucbor after winter which he spent shreddin' jumps at BURN Dirtpark, told me after practise day,
that in spite of all he feels suprisingly confident on downhill track. March spent in San Remo, plus good approach "most important if perfect flow, and having fun during the ride!".
Golden mean? We will see after today's finals.
6. Filip Pols has been visiting Wisla for 4 years now, definitely he's the pretender for winner, he did it only once, 2 of 3 times, polish competitors gained first place on the podium.
Everybody are talking about his few lines, thanks to which, he can be few seconds faster than everybody on the finish line.
the worst thing is to spend winter in the city. pics are from the day that I felt for the first time in my life the strenght of avalanches. there's lot to be learnt...

today was a pretty pleasant day. finally i came back to the mountains! first day, we hit the bc slopes of Slovakia, in fact conditions didn't satisfy us,
but nevertheless the whole 'trip' was a kind of extremely pleasure hours spent with friends in mountains.
that's what i was missing during past few months...
